ICANN needs your help!!

ICANN needs your help! If you've been reading up about the RegisterFly saga here on Green Joe, you know that they have lost their accreditation.

The problem is, RegisterFly is being dishonest. They haven't removed the ICANN logo from their website, and they haven't informed their customers about loosing ICANN accreditation.

So please pass the word on to your friends and family. Chances are someone they know may be a RegisterFly customer.

The honourable thing

Kevin Medina, the CEO of former ICANN accreditated registrar RegisterFly should do the honourable thing, and commit Seppuku. He screwed up, and now there are fine business people who were already considering this. Kevin Medina is a very bad man and should face the punishment for his crimes.

Christine Jones, Attorney for competitor Go Daddy had some interesting insights into the issue on last night's episode of Life Online with Bob Parsons.

Seeing as I haven't blogged about the Green Party lately, I felt the need to give them a shout out. So hello to the GPC! The election is coming soon!!

eragon

At the end of 2006, I posted briefly about the film Eragon.

Today it was finally released on DVD. In accordance with my policy to watch all new DVD's in the first 30 days, I watched this today. It was almost as good at the first time I saw it. Plenty of excitement, a cute lead actor, and a great storyline. What more can you want?

Run out to the store and pick up a copy. I can't wait for the sequel.

Welcome to Central Nova

It was announced today on CTV's Question Period that Green Party leader Elizabeth May will be running in the riding of Central Nova. She is going to take on Foreign Affairs Minister Peter McKay. Yay!! I'm glad to see her taking on a cabinet minister, and she will win!

Go Elizabeth, Go!!

Damned inconvenient

So despite popular belief, I have finally seen Al Gore's documentary An Inconvenient Truth. The movie was quite interesting, and damned inconvenient.

The movie goes through the science and the detailed analysis of what is happening to our planet, and why all of this seems to be happening now. Interestingly, a large population growth since Word War II has contributed to the problem.

I suggest you pick up a copy of the movie, and show it to everyone you know. You may just help save the world.
