The obligatory Thanksgiving blog post.

Here in Canada, on Monday it will be Thanksgiving. So in traditional fashion, I will list what I am thankful for.

1. I am thankful that the Green Party has risen in the polls, and seems to be getting more media coverage.

2. I am thankful that the United States congress has a pedophile. (Or had.)

3. I am thankful that Ontario is finally Smoke Free!

4. I am thankful for tonight's premier of Battlestar Galactica.

5. I am thankful that lettuce is more deadly than marijuana, at least for now.

6. I am thankful for delicious, yummy pie.

7. I am thankful that Dubyah cannot seek re-election.

8. I am thankful that the US Republican party may loose big-time due to the various scandals.

9. I am thankful that Ignatieff may win the Liberal Leadership. I prefer him over Bob Rae.

10. Finally, I am thankful for the Michael Jackson song Heal the World. It keeps it all in perspective, even if Michael has done a few things that he should be ashamed of.
